The FIXX are proud to announce the release of "Moving Mountains", a brand new song written to help benefit the work of the Love Hope Strength Foundation. Upon Cy and Jamie's return from the trek up Mt. Everest with a dedicated and adventurous LHS group of climbers, the FIXX began work on new songs. As Cy says , " When we set off to climb to base camp I had no idea that my life would be fundamentally changed forever. I returned feeling, oh, so small and very light". From those first post-journey sessions with the FIXX, "Moving Mountains" was born. HOLLYWOOD GETS ITS FIXX
The Fixx just wrapped up a magnificently crowd pleasing performance Friday night, September 2nd at the iconic Hollywood Bowl. Along with performances by The B52's, The Human League and Berlin, attendees were treated to a set filled with some of the Fixx's biggest hits as well as a sneak peek at the forthcoming "Beautiful Friction" album with the song "Take A Risk".
MORE SUMMER MEANS MORE FIXX
Summer begins it's descent, and The Fixx begin another slew of dates with all of the guys in fightin' form! Things kick off in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania on August 20th and continue right through Labor Day Weekend in the US. Dates include Las Vegas, Hollywood, Sacramento, Fresno and San Diego!! CY IN THE MOUNTAINS.......
Cy Curnin will be performing solo and acoustically at this year's 7908 Aspen Songwriters Festival at the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen, Colorado.. An annual event co-produced by legendary singer/songwriter John Oates, the festival (named for the 7908' it sits above sea level) brings together some of the most talenter songwriters in the world. Appearing along with Cy at this year's event, are Glenn Tilbrook, Shawn Colvin, Keb Mo, Elizabeth Cook & Kim Carnes, Miles Zuniga (of Fastball), Mat Kearney, John Hammond, Donavon Frankenreiter and many more.... THE FIXX IS ONCE AGAIN IN THE PUBLIC CONSCIOUSNESS

CY ON THE ROAD
Currently, Cy is hitting the road with the Bacon Brothers in Europe. The shows in Germany, Denmark and The Netherlands have been getting great reviews, and Cy is setting the stage for his forthcoming solo CD. Here is the complete list of European shows. As soon as the European shows are complete, Cy will head off to America in February for a few select Harper-Curnin dates with, of course, Nick Harper. THE FIXX IN THE STUDIO
The Fixx are recording their all-new studio album with Nick Jackson, the 12-song set promises to be a "milestone" in the band's heralded history. Lead singer Cy Curnin comments, "It is filled with choice 'Fixxiness'. It's been a long time coming, but as they say in outer Mongolia and other places...'so what'?" More details coming very soon.
